Switching between tabs in Chrome?
April 05, 2011 02:02PM
So the button combo to switch between tabs using chrome is usually ctrl + tab, but when settin gthis as a new command in stroke it all it seems to do is open a new tab instead of switching between them, any idea what im doing wrong?

The keystroke command I used is [CTRL_DOWN]TAB[CTRL_UP]

whats the benefit of using keystrokes when a hotkey can accomplish this?

a side question, in XP i used to be able to bind MBUTTON_DOWN/UP to hotkey and accomplish the tab scrolling ... now im win7 64bit and MBUTTON_DOWN/UP dont seem to function.... strokeit's trayicon goes blue indication of invoking but nothing gets passed regardless of action and command

i have to correct myself wheel_up/_down is what i was referring to

and was using .9.5 , now im on .9.7

what now works is ... mbutton up/down & wheel up
*what doesnt work correctly* is - wheel down .. (when wheel_up is not binded) does nothing
when (wheel_up IS binded) it acts as wheel_up

or it will pass Whl_down after passing _up action...
if say class:chrome (browser) wheel_up is alt-tab & wheel down ctl+tab (tab switch)
it will switch windows on first alt-tab pass on second alt-tab pass it will switch back to chrome and will switch tab
