Insert today's date

Hello
I'd like to perform a gesture to insert today's date in tke YYYY.MM.DD format.
I think I have to use command "Keys - Send keystrokes", but I can't figure how.
Also, I can't find online documentation!

I found the helpfile at [home.arcor.de], thanks to the maintainer.
But I still can't find anythingh about the date, I think it's not possible using StrokeIt alone

Yes you are right. If you start notepad and press F5 you have the actual time and date but not in your format.
