Switch Virtual Desktop when RDP in full-screen mode

Hi,
I have configured Lef/Right gestures to switch my virtual desktops and it works as expected.
However, when RDP client is opened in full-screen and hotkeys are executed in the remote machine, the left/right gestures do not work.
Is there a way to force execution of gestures on the local machine instead of an application that captures hotkeys?

I also use gestures for switching virtual desktops. I added an additional hotkey ahead of the one that actually switches desktops for Ctrl+Alt+Home to break out of RDP.
