Acts Like an Open Window on Taskbar - Windows 8 (x64)

I've been switching between Windows 7 & 8 (x64) for 6 months now. My first impressions of 8 were not liked, so waited for awhile for software to adjust. One thing I noticed back then and now is that the Strokeit program has a window on the taskbar. The window doesn't bring up Strokeit's Command Editor. As you can see from the following picture, there are two open windows on my taskbar, one is the official Strokeit Command Editor, the other is something else.

Might it have something to do with the UAC?
